General

The Plymouth Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber), collects information on you, via your registration and your bids that are used for Auction purposes only.

The Chamber does not sell or rent this information in any way to any third party.

The Chamber may from time to time contact you regarding the Auction. Such e-mails may include, but are not limited to questions about the Auction, notifying winners, notifying you about the Auction and on Auction details.

Cookies

We use what is called "Session" cookies, a small file temporarily placed on your computer for security purposes while you are logged in. These coockies expire when you close your browser and are used for security purposes only. No information is retained from these except your User ID and date and time when you last logged in. This is so we can see you has been active or not in a year's auction.

Account Protection

Your username and password is the key to your account. Use unique numbers, letters and special characters, and do not disclose your password to anyone. If you do share your username and password with others, please remember that you are responsible for all actions taken in the name of your account. If you lose control of your username or password, you may lose control over your account and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately notify the Chmaber and change your password.

Security

Your information is stored on our web servers located in the United States. We treat your information as an asset that must be protected. However, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications. Therefore, although we have worked very hard to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information will always remain private.
